Scituate Arts Association is proud to recognize Noelle Schillberg as this year’s Scituate High School Scholarship Award winner.

The SAA’s scholarship honors an emerging artist who as a member of this year’s Scituate graduating class demonstrates a dedicated interest and aptitude in the visual arts either 2D or 3D, including painting, printmaking, sculpture and pottery, as well as a good academic record.  Honorees must intend to pursue further education and training in the arts leading to a career than will employ that expertise.  A digital portfolio was also presented for review as part of the selection process.

In presenting her award online the SHS Art Department congratulated Noelle stating “Noelle Schillberg has an impressive sense of visual acuity and her heightened sensitivity to materials and processes often leads to a sophistication in her artwork that distinguishes her from so many others.  Moreover, the pride and joy she expresses when she shares her work is a delight to witness and an exciting indicator of her full potential.”

Noelle expects to matriculate at Emerson College in the Fall.

Scituate Arts is proud to be able to help further Noelle’s artistic goals.  Congratulations!
